We Do Not Take Authors From Agents

Poet's Letter Books will launch its first titles before this Christmas. If you are writing in English and your writing has the voice of life, beatings and perspiration of a human heart, if you command questioning, you aspire, you ignite, you shake and sparkle, you make us small and raise us high, make us believe and cut through the materialistic carbonated solid heart of capitalistic cynicism that freezes our heart into stone-cold-iced death tomb where we die in our nightmarish living time of a life; you take us where we learn to have faith and believe in something where we look at the eyes of our brothers and sisters and do not see enemy eyes,  and you take us to places and times where we have never been, then we are your publisher. No, we won't publish books about laughing and dictated intellect or arranged marriages or nocturnal bohemian barbarism, we won't publish dixichick's diaries, we definitely won't publish books that need not have been written for they have already been written! We want to publish books that the readers have not read yet and do not know that they ought to read them and they will come to read them.

We don't care what colour clothes your skin, what fluctuates your tongue, what background offers you a support base, what part of the planet (or the UK) you or your parents or grand parents are from, whatever names become your badge, whatever class or profession shares proximity with your physique or shadow,  we want to publish your work so long you live and write in the UK producing the best of creative writing a writer could create. We are not going publish "Tesco Value" Books.

We are accepting submissions of First Novel. If you have completed your first novel and would like us to consider publishing it please send us the following (in the following stages) and please remember you would have completed your novel when you are writing to us:

Stage One

1. Title of the Novel

2. Length of the Novel (in words)

2. Your full name and address including telephone, mobile and email address

We would then ask you to send in the following in word document as attachment. However, if you have not been asked to send attachment and send us materials in this manner they won't be looked at.

Stage Two

3. One (A4) page synopsis of the novel

4. One (A4) page CV

5. Three Chapters of your novel.

Stage Three

We should have received your submissions from now to End of February 2007. The last day of sending us submissions: 31st January  2007

Stage Four

If we accept your Novel it will be published in 2007 and 2008
