Philosophy on the Internet

Welcome to the Philosophy on the Internet Page which forms part of The Poet's Letter Magazine website. The Poet's Letter publishes philosophical works and welcomes philosophical writings from new and emerging philosophers who are trying out new ideas and thoughts as well as attempting to enter into and invent a new way of thinking, asking questions and trying to get answers of them.

Internet and the development in what technology can do have offered Philosophy enormous avenues to reach readers and lovers of philosophy in an unprecedented way. Internet freed humanity (at least who are fortunate enough to have the skills and ability to pay) to come together and gather the force of thinking and enlighten us with new ideas and means of thinking.

We are not interested in writings that are taught formatted and predictable. We want sharp and edgy questioning and work of imagination, wisdom and intelligence as well as wit and humour. Philosophy at its best when there is no academia lurking in its shadows.

So here we are: Philosophy on the Internet acting as a resource base and online guide to people who are hungry for questioning and ready to hear and question the answers that are to come about. The joy of philosophy is not in getting degrees for the study of it but the ability for us to learn questioning and seek the paths of attempting to acquire answers while becoming capable of thinking and enjoying the craft of thoughts and in the manner in which it is done. Fundamentally philosophy teaches us there is no end to how much and how far we can think because there are no beginnings and no endings in sight of this infinite universe in which we find ruining ourselves in the poverty of thinking because our system says we have found it all and there is nothing more to it than what is already there: death, destructions, desolation, hatred, poverty, hunger, famine, wars, massacres, anarchy and chaos.

Remember The Poet's Letter is a monthly magazine and therefore there are opportunities for authors to submit works for publications every month. We cannot pay for the submissions but would acknowledge gratefully your contributions which are then taken to the people for which you have written your works.

Thanks for your time.

Keep questioning for there is going to be a diamond dawn dancing out of the darkness. Only ideas, thoughts, words and our imagination separate us from being mere animal and makes us human beings. Philosophy may not sells at Tesco or Wall Mart  or Marks and Spencer but this is where our souls are fed and  we begin to live a life that is worth living for.
