That does not mean we do not hold onto a lot more misconceptions and traps of mental frameworks and terms of reference and thought patterns. Take an example on the political philosophical framework on which we live by today. Like the olden people who had never left their village or the vicinity of their surrounding we still think our village is the ultimate truth and the fact that our little village is the ultimate universe! So here we are with our so called sovereignty principle which has become like the bones in the throat of the tiger: he cannot wiggle it out nor can he swallow it and in the process he is gradually dying! This is where humanity is: dying of the bone that ought to be taken out! Let’s take a look: there is not a single political entity in this political philosophy that runs the villages of the world, so called homes of the nations, countries. There are countries with imaginary boundaries or borders that do not exist. These borders only exist on maps yet they are more real in our heads than anything else. So within these imaginary borders we have these so called supreme or sovereign powers organised and exercised by the governments over their people who like their government think they are the world or the universe. And the world accept that the villages ought to be able to exercise their so called sovereign powers independently. That would have been fine five hundred years ago when not many people could know much about the universe. But today the situation is different: the acceptance in that these powers are supreme and sovereign and ought to be able to exercise their prowess freely leaves us with Saddam Hussain, with Pol Pot, with Pinochet, with Bootha, with Stalin, with Hitler, with Mugabe and countless others who were and had to be left alone because however way they came in power they had it and therefore they had to be given free range. Moreover there is no body or entity that could do anything about it! The UN is not and could be be the body or entity that could act for the world because the world needs to be prepared to be one political entity based on fundamentally different political philosophy that takes the view that the earth itself is one and the race that occupies it, humanity, is the ultimate nation on earth. There is no bigger power or sovereignty than humanity and that is that! Let us take a few example of what has been happening! Many years of brutality, barbarity, callousness and cruelty against humanity. Rivers of blood. Years of silence from the world! Because there was no world. The UN was not the world body! And it subscribes to the so called sovereignty principle! So they had to just let Milosovic carry on what he was doing! Yet the world had to accep Pakistan’s right to manage its own affairs and millions of people became victims of brutality and cruelty and got slaughtered. On these, what could a state, a government or any other village power on this earth could do on their own or even together even if they manage to agree in groups! God forbid, if Tsunami were to hit a region of earth a few times a year or every other year! What would happen to the people of those regions? God forbid, what if Katrina became the norm? What would then happen to the people of that region? What if the global warming related skin cancer widens its net! What could these little village states do on their own! Therefore, this villagian old political philosophy had to be put in bin liners and taken to a land field site and be effectively buried there! Humanity needs a new philosophy and new way of thinking that sees the earth as one and humanity as one and finds its purpose and duty in the infinite universe that offers infinite possibilities and challenges only if we could ready ourselves to take them! However, if we fail, then we ought to be ready to follow the dinosaurs. There won’t be an America or American President to oppose Kyoto then or to stand up and dare say to the world that the cost to businesses to do something about global warming is too much because there won’t be any one left alive to hear that rubbish other the desolation, destruction and comprehensive non human silence!
